As the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) concludes preparations to hold its national congress that will produce its presidential candidate, the governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has taken to his page on Facebook to openly campaign for rotational presidency.
The experienced lawyer, in this politically ‘symbolic move’ advocated for presidential ticket to be zoned to the south of Nigeria.
On Thursday morning, Akerodolu posted thus: APC MUST WORK TO RETAIN POWER. WE MUST ROTATE POWER TO RETAIN POWER ! ! ! ROTATE TO SOUTH. SHIKENA
Meanwhile, the meeting of APC governors on the ‘suggestion’ by President Muhammadu Buhari for them to come up with ‘consensus’ candidate has been scheduled to hold again in the next 24 hours after the initial meeting ended in deadlock.
