Italian football legend, Christian Vieri has urged the management of Liverpool FC to make a move for Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen because the skillful player is a perfect fit for them.
Napoli do not particularly consider Osimhen non-transferable while the Lille forward favours a Premier League switch, but the Serie A club is not ready to sell for less than 110m Euros.
Italian publication, La Repubblica (via Napolipiu) revealed weeks ago that Manchester United made a €100m offer to Napoli in a bid to sign their star striker, Osimhen this summer.
The Italian publication had revealed this on their website sometimes last month with Osimhen having been tipped to make his departure from Napoli to an English Premier League club.
Arsenal and Newcastle United are among the English clubs interested in the striker with the Magpies possessing the financial strength to battle with Man United for Osimhen’s signature.
However, Italian former football star, Vieri has asked Liverpool to make a move for Osimhen as Sadio Mane is leaving. He says Osimhen will be a perfect fit for Liverpool’s all-running style.
“If I were Liverpool, I would go and take Osimhen from Napoli. Everyone runs in Klopp’s squad, they go a thousand miles an hour. He would be perfect,” Vieri said, according to Sport Witness.
