Otunba Ladi Owolabi, the deputy gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Ekiti State has chided the All Progressives Congress (APC) for planning to unleash violence on the residents of the state and members of the opposition in the state.Â
He stated this during an interaction with PMParrot at his residence in Ado Ekiti recently.
He further challenged President Muhammadu Buhari to be fair to all the political parties and the candidates in the forthcoming election, while calling on security agencies to be on the alert and to caution the ruling party over its plans to unleash mayhem on voters on the day of the election.
Otunba Ladi Owolabi further stated that SDP is focused on winning the state gubernatorial election while urging the people of the state to vote massively for the party in order to end impunity and underdevelopment in the state.
He further said, “Our mission for seeking to come into government is aimed at reducing and reducing poverty to the lowest minimum. What I have to tell our people is that they should maintain their omoluabi culture that Ekiti is known for. They should not exercise any fear. I am sure the security agencies are not going to allow that and we as a party will not allow that. We are going to make sure that things are in order in the state again”.
