The Chairman of Ikole Local Government Area in Ekiti State, Mr. Sola Olominu has described the victory of the Governor-elect in the state, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji as a sign of good things to come.
He stated this while speaking with PMParrot in Ikole-Ekiti on Tuesday.
He further commended the people of the state for coming out en masse to vote for the All Progressive Congress (APC) party in the state while describing Oyebanji as a promise keeper, easy going and friendly person.
The Chairman also congratulated the State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, for his achievement of having a good successor.
“I want to congratulate our Governor-Elect, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji for his victory in the Saturday gubernatorial election. It is no more news that his victory in the election has set a new pace for other states to follow because the electoral process was peaceful, free and fair without any bloodshed.
“I want to commend Ekiti indigenes especially my people in Ikole Local Government area for avoiding all forms of violence, malpractices and voting for our party, APC”.
“I pray for our Governor-Elect, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji that God will give him wisdom, knowledge and guidance to pilot the affairs of our dear State to the promised land”.
