Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun has congratulated the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, and Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on their 60th and 57th birthday celebrations respectively.
Oyetola in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, said he joined family, friends, political associates, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the people of Lagos to felicitate the two distinguished Lagosians.
The Governor described Gbajabiamila as an outstanding lawmaker, a patriotic Nigerian and selfless leader who has, over the years, contributed immensely to the growth, unity and development of the country through effective and impacting legislations.
He also commended the Speaker for providing quality and exemplary leadership at the House of Representatives which he said, contributed to the landmark legislations and numerous accomplishments of the legislative chamber in the last three years.
“On behalf of my family, government and good people of Osun, I heartily felicitate the Speaker, House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila on attaining the milestone age of 60 in good health and happiness. I pray Allah grants you more years of good health, wisdom and strength to continue to serve your Constituency and our nation,” Oyetola said.
Congratulating his Lagos counterpart on his 57th birthday, Oyetola hailed Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his sterling performance and outstanding achievements as Governor of the Centre of Excellence, delivering democratic dividends to the people.
He lauded him for improving the state of infrastructure, social services, human and capital development in Lagos in an outstanding manner since assumption of office, adding that the people are proud of his commitment to public service.
Oyetola prayed God to bless Governor Sanwo-Olu with many more years of sound health to continue his service to the people of Lagos and humanity.
“On behalf of my family, government and good people of Osun, I heartily felicitate my colleague and brother Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on attaining the age of 57 in sound health and happiness.
