It was a gathering of top celebrities in the entertainment industry and On-Air Personalities in Ibadan when the first edition of ‘Ileya Celebrities Football Challenge 2022’ was held recently inside the main-bowl of the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, in the capital city of Oyo State.
The event which is first of its kind was organized by a Sports presenter, Sola Aiyegbajeje, the CEO of Aiyegbasports Media Concept and was powered by the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Solat Telecoms Nigeria, Alhaji Ganiyu Hammed who opened the score line with a powerful goal for his side.
The football challenge with topnotch arrangement according to the Solat Telecoms boss was in-line with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy of the firm, which is to support sports and entertainment within the society where the business is located.
Some of the media personalities present included Babatunde Saheed ‘Mr Sports’, Afeez Mohammed ‘Cantona’, Olawale Hamzat ‘Top Striker’, Samson Akindele, Abiala Dahunsi ‘Kaka’, Bolaji Olayemoli, Yussuf Ike, Olanrewaju Agiri, Abass Alago, Obadare Oladosu ‘Obasports’, Kenny Ogunmiloro, Gbolahan Olalere, David Halfsaint, TheRain, Adekunle Alubarika.
Other notable personalities present included; Adebayo Faleke, Samuel and Emmanuel Ibikunle, Samuel Gbesabi, Jibola Akinyefa, Imoyosola Adetoro, Waheed Akintayo ‘Ilumoka’, Tunde Olawuwo, Tunde Adebajo, and Idis Animasahun.
Comedians such as Dele Omo Woli, MC Remote and Peteru were all present to display their soccer skills.
Meanwhile, representatives from mobile phone manufacturers such as Samsung, Infinix, Tecno, Itel were in attendance and smart phones of high quality were presented to the players of Ibadan Celebrities All Stars in appreciation of their brilliant performances.
