Can our readers meet you?
My name is Blessing Olakanla. I am 21 years old, a student of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State studying Political Science.
How did you get to become BCOS Queen?
I got to know of the beauty pageant program on Oke-Ogun 96.3FM. I decided to give it a trial and I was lucky to be among the shortlisted candidates. During the program, we participated in many activities before I emerged as the overall winner.
How has the experience been?
It’s been inspiring and interesting.
Can you let us into some of your plans?
I have an outline of what I plan to achieve as a queen among which is to donate sanitary pads to schoolgirls and organize seminars for them on how they can overcome low self-esteem.
What your message for the Nigerian Girl child?
They should not limit themselves because of low self-esteem. Many girls are battling with low self-esteem syndrome; they should believe in their dreams and be very optimistic that their future will be bright.
What is your message for BCOS, Online Dynamix?
 I want to say a big shout out to BCOS and Online Dynamix and appreciate them for giving me the platform to emerge as the winner. The program is impactful; I pray that God will continue to bless them and make ways for them.
