The Iseyin Book Club has expressed grief over the death of His Royal Highness, Oba Dr. Abdul Ganiyy Adekunle Salaudeen Oloogunebi Ajinese.
Iseyin Book Club in a statement of condolence signed by the Coordinator of the Club, Yusuf Opeere said the demise of the traditional ruler at this time was indeed a great loss not only to the Iseyin traditional council but to the people and government of Oyo state as well as Nigeria at large.
Iseyin Book Club described the late Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba Dr. Abdul Ganiyy Adekunle Salaudeen Oloogunebi Ajinese as a highly respected monarch whose 15-year reign on the throne helped in promoting unity and peace in Iseyinland as well as attracting significant development and progress to his people.
The Club through the statement praised the contributions of the royal father to the peaceful coexistence and socio-economic development of Iseyinland and the state, which it said endeared the late monarch to his subjects and all those who related with him.
The club prayed that God would comfort the family, friends and subjects of the departed royal father.
