The Nigerian Air Force of the 671 Detachment, Ibadan has pledged its continuous support for the Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
Air Commodore Nasir Babatunde Folaji stated this during a courtesy visit to the State Command of the NSCDC at Agodi, Ibadan recently.
“Security of the nation is the duty of all security operatives and there should be synergy between the two security agencies to fight against crime,” he said.
Air Commodore Nasir further stated that the security of the state could only be achieve through continuous cooperation between the security agencies as it was practiced in time past.
Reacting, the Oyo State Commandant of the NSCDC, Commandant Adaralewa Michael, stated that the era of inter-agency rivalry is over, revealing that the goal of the security agencies is to ensure the security of lives and properties of residents of Oyo State and Nigeria in general.
He further stated that the corps has improved in her activities through investment in training and retraining exercise implemented by the Commandant General of the Corps, CG Abubakar Ahmed Audi Corps while emphasizing that the NSCDC will continue to collaborate with the sister agency for the protection of lives and properties of Nigerians.
