The Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barrister Adebayo Lawal, Wednesday, joined his colleagues in Nigeria to attend a one-day national workshop for the establishment of national consultative forum for chairmen of state boundaries and border management agencies of the federal government.
The theme of the Workshop was “Converting Borders From Barriers of Separation to Bridges of Co-operation and Regional Integration”
The workshop which was held in Abuja had in attendance the Director General National Boundary Comm. Surv. Adamu Adaji, Executive Secretary, Border Communities Development Agency, Captain Junaid Abdullahi and Comptroller General, Nigeria Immigration Service.
Other personalities at the workshop included the national security adviser, Major-Gen. Babagana Monguno, the Comptoller-Gen. of Customs, Col Hamid Alli (rtd) and the Inspector-Gen. of Police, Alkali Baba Usman.
