The Association of Proprietors of Football Academies of Nigeria (APFAN) has sent a congratulatory message to the newly elected Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, urging him to focus on grassroots development.
“With your background and knowledge in the administration of the game of football, it’s our hope that your administration will concentrate on the grassroots of the game of which we are willing to partner with the board,” the congratulatory letter signed by Hon. Wilson Whyte, President, APFAN FCT chapter, read in part.
Meanwhile, APFAN and sports consultants, Berackiah International, have concluded plans for the maiden edition of The Academy Football Championships (AFC) slated for the first quarter of 2023.
