The Oyo State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has paraded two suspected thieves who specialize in phone theft within the Ibadan metropolis at the Command’s State Headquarters, Agodi, Ibadan.
Parading the suspects, the State Commandant, Adaralewa Michael gave their names as Olaniyi Ademola age 35years, a native of Iwo in Osun state residing at No 5/153 Odo Osun Labiran Area of Ibadan North East and Kehinde Asimiyu, 31years, a native of Ibadan from Ojagbo Mafikuyomi Compound of Ibadan North East Local Government respectively.
He stated that the two-suspected criminals were arrested recently after successfully picking two Android phones, an Itel and an Infinix phone from innocent citizens at Olorunsogo area of Ona Ara Local Government.
He revealed that it took the intervention of Operation Burst in the area that pursued and got them arrested while reiterating that no criminally-minded citizen will be allowed to stay in Oyo State.
The commandant revealed that the two suspects will be arraigned in the law court immediately after the conclusion of investigations.
