There are seasons for everything under the sun and on this earth. One of such seasons is here for the Governor Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde of Oyo and his counterpart from Ekiti, Mr Abiodun Oyebanji.
The Ekiti Abiodun was born on the 21st day of December in the year 1967 at his hometown of Ikogosi Ekiti, in Ekiti State.
He attended schools at Ikogosi Ekiti, Efon Alaaye and at the Federal School of Arts and Science in Ondo State.
He later graduated from the Ondo State University, currently known as Ekiti State University with a degree in Political Science in 1989.
He got his Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Ibadan (UI) in 1992.
Today, he is the governor of Ekiti State, the fountain of knowledge and there have been so much expectations from his people since he was sworn in some months back.
As for the Abiodun from Oyo State, he got very lucky early in life. His success graph has kept rising. How? Since he got to this world on the 25th of December, 1967, he has kept the focus and his much talked about ‘stubborn approach to life’.
He had his primary education at St Paul Primary School and at St Michael Primary School, Yemetu, Ibadan. After, he proceeded to Bishop Phillips Academy Monatan, Ibadan for his secondary school education. Seyi Makinde he obtained a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering in 1985.
As a young man in quest for knowledge, Seyi Makinde enrolled for a training on Safety Shutdown System at Industrial Control Services in Houston, Texas.
After working with international companies for five years, Seyi Makinde founded Makon Engineering and Technical Services; an instrumentation, Automation and Control Systems Company at age 29. Â Today, he is the executive governor of Oyo State, a dream that truly came true for him.
