It was an atmosphere full of fun, excitement and joy as old boys and girls of Ibadan Grammar School, Molete, Millennium Set gathered together to host their Annual Reunion Programme.
The fun filled event, which was held on Monday, November 2nd, 2023 within the school premises, was put together under the auspices of Ibadan Grammar School Old Students’ Association (IGSOSA) Millennium Set.
The then old boys and girls, now fathers and mothers used the occasion to elect a new set of executives that will steer the wheel of the association for the next two years.
The programme, which was highlighted with different activities such as tour, games (cheese, ludo, scrabble) and other side attractions to add glamour to the event, witnessed Engr. Oluwa Daniel taking up the mantle of leadership of the association from Alhaji Biola Olaniyan.
Speaking on behalf of the former President, Dr. Bisi Adesanya, who also stepped aside as the Vice President, commended all members for their support throughout their tenure.
She assured the whole house of their readiness to rally support for the new executive members to ensure smooth running of the association.
In his acceptance speech, the newly elected President, Engr. Oluwa Daniel, appreciated the support of all members of the Millennium Set both at home and in the diaspora for their moral and financial assistance so far.
He promised that his administration, with the support of other executives will not renege on the promise to form an inclusive administration and to keep abreast of all members of the association’s plans of action.
