Accord’s candidate for Oluyole State Constituency Seat at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Aina Oke-Are has revealed that the state will be a foremost industrial hub in the country if the people of the state cast their votes for all Accord candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
The former Councilor of Ward II in Oluyole Local Government said if the people of the state, especially the people of Oluyole Local government want to enjoy life and well-being without any rancor of godfatherism in the state, they should vote and support all its candidates during this year’s general elections.
“As we all know, the candidates of Accord are people with good family background and integrity. They will not want to soil their hard-earned names by embezzling the funds meant for the development of the state.
“Majority of us that are in Accord now are progressives. People like our gubernatorial candidate, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, who was a deputy Governor of the Central Bank and philanthropist does not want anything again but to give back to the society by ensuring the people of the state have good life and that is what all of us in the party want for the people of the state,” Hon. Oke-Are, who is fondly called Jega by her many admirers, said.
Speaking further on why she is the best candidate for the seat of Oluyole State Constituency at the Oyo State House of Assembly, the foremost entrepreneur said she is equipped because of her background and research to recommend some policies to the state government because most of the laws used in governing the lives of the people are old and need to be reviewed for the betterment of the people.
“My main objective if given the chance to represent the Oluyole people at the Oyo State House of Assembly is to review and recommend the implementation of some policies of the state government to be of reasonable realities for today. Many laws and policies are no longer in today’s realities, so it will be my responsibility to advocate for the review of those policies for the benefit of the people of the state, mostly those that affect the living conditions of the citizens of the state,” Hon. Oke-Are said.
