The family left behind by one time governor of Oyo State, Alhaji (Dr) Lamidi Onaolapo Adesina has joined other Nigerians to congratulate the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his emergence as the President-Elect of the country.
In a special statement signed and sent to PMParrot by the scion of the late politician, Dr Ayobami Wasiu Lam-Adesina, the family said the news of Tinubu’s victory is a welcome development adding that “we are happy that Asiwaju emerged president. This has always been what our late father, Dr Lamidi Onaolapo Adesina believed in. He used to say that Asiwaju is a presidential material.”
In addition, Dr Ayobami Lam Adesina equally congratulated other leaders of the party starting from President Muhammadu Buhari.
“Our family is also proud of the roles being played by our Daddies, Chief Bisi Akande, Chief Segun Osoba, Chief Akin Oke, Barrister Babatunde Raji-Fasola, Chief Adeniyi Adebayo and other progressives.
“It is our belief that Nigeria will witness a new era because Asiwaju will lead with the fear of God.”
