Management of Oyo State darling team, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, has described the victory of Engineer Seyi Makinde in last Saturday’s gubernatorial election as well deserved and the best thing to happen to the pacesetter state.
The Executive Chairman of the Oluyole Warriors, Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan, in a statement made available to the press, through the club’s Media Officer, Tosin Omojola, said the re-election of the governor, was expected, owing to his landmark achievements during his first four years in office
“It is indeed victory well deserved for His Excellency. His resounding victory shows that the people of Oyo State appreciate his hard work, diligence, commitment and selfless service which has given birth to a new Oyo State.
“As beneficiaries of governor Makinde’s quality and people oriented governance, we are indeed happy that the people of the state have handsomely reciprocated his good gesture by reposing confidence in him though their votes, to renew his mandate.
“The entire management, staff and players of 3SC, join other well meaning people of Oyo State in congratulating His Excellency over his triumph at the poll.
“While we are cocksure of al round sustainable development and more goodies for the pacesetter state, under the leadership of governor Makinde, we pray that God protects and grants him the wisdom to pilot the affairs of the state for another four years,” the statement read in part.
