The Chairman Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo has rejoiced with all Muslims in Nigeria, Oyo state, Ido Citizens across the globe and most especially his wonderful father, Alhaji Yekini Ayoade Adeojo on the celebration of this year’s Eid El Kabir festival.
Hon. Sheriff Adeojo also extended his felicitation to the Governor of Oyo State, Engineer ‘Seyi Makinde and his cabinet, The Olubadan of Ibadan Land, His Imperial Majesty Oba (Dr) Mohood Ishola Olalekan Balogun, the Chief Imam of Ibadan Land, Sheik Abdul-Ganeey Agbotomokekere, traditional council, League of Imams, political leaders of his council.
He equally extended his greetings to the National Vice Chairman South West PDP- Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, Alhaja (Yeye) Modinat Bosede Adedubu, PDP’s South West Woman Leader, the Oyo State PDP party Chairman, Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro and Oyo State PDP party Secretary Hon. Wasiu Adeleke.
Hon. Sheriff Adeojo called on the good people of Oyo State to use this festive period to pray for Governor Seyi Makinde that God should continue to be his guard and guide throughout his second term and beyond.
The Ido council boss further advised well meaning Nigerians on the need to embrace unity, love, sacrifice, generosity, tolerance and peaceful co- existence among themselves to reflect the lesson of Eid-El-Kabir.
