Supporters of the governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu have been jubilating after the news of the return of the prominent lawyer-turned politician to Nigeria broke on Thursday afternoon.
PMParrot’s sources at the governor’s office in Akure indicated that workers there too have been congratulating one another.
Aketi, as he is popularly called returned to Nigeria from Germany after spending months overseas to receive medical attention.
The arrival of the Ondo Governor was further confirmed during a telephone conversation with one of Aketi’s closest aides on Thursday.
It was, however, not clear if Akeredolu will come to Ibadan or drive straight to Akure, the capital city of Ondo State.
