    President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has joined other great Nigerians to express sadness over the passing of Chief Michael Adeniyi Koleoso, a former national chairman of the Alliance for Democracy (AD).

    Chief Koleoso, who was also a former secretary to the Government of Oyo State, politician, and accomplished businessman, was the Babalaje of Sakiland.

    In a statement issued by his special adviser on media and publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu remembered Chief Kokeoso’s endeavours towards enriching and strengthening the political process.

    The president extended his condolences to the family of the deceased and the people of Oyo state, praying for the repose of the soul of the departed and comfort for his family.

    “President Bola Tinubu receives the news of the passing of Chief Michael Adeniyi Koleoso, OFR, and former national chairman of the Alliance for Democracy (AD), with profound sadness.

    “Chief Koleosho was a former secretary to the Government of Oyo State, a politician, and an accomplished businessman.

    “President Tinubu mourns the late elder statesman, who was the Babalaje of Sakiland, recalling his endeavours towards enriching and strengthening the political process.

    “The President extends his condolences to the family of the deceased and the people of Oyo State.

    “The President prays for the repose of the soul of the departed and comfort for his family”, the statement said.
