Super Eagles’ striker, Cyriel Dessers could get a lifeline from the French Ligue 1 after falling out of favour at Scottish giants Rangers.
The 30-year-old striker has not started the season badly and has 12 goals and four assists after 26 games.
However, coach Philippe Clement has increasingly preferred the young Moroccan Haza Igamane in recent weeks, which could now also result in a transfer of Dessers.
The Daily Record has now reported that Dessers could move to France as Saint-Étienne are reportedly interested in the striker.
They are currently in 16th place in Ligue 1 and are actively looking for reinforcements.
The Ligue 1 club are ready to pay 4M Euros for the much-traveled Dessers even though Rangers splashed Five Million Euros to sign him from Italian club US Cremonese two years ago.
