Nollywood actor, Kelvin Ikeduba has revealed that he is at ease playing “bad boy” roles in movies, emphasizing that these characters do not reflect his real-life personality.

Known for his tough-guy persona on screen, Ikeduba explained that while he initially considered stepping away from such roles, he ultimately embraced them, drawing inspiration from Hollywood stars like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Sylvester Stallone, who are celebrated for their action-packed and often edgy characters.

“Initially, when these bad boy roles started coming, I thought it was a coincidence,” Ikeduba shared. “But later, I realized that maybe I’m just very good at being bad, which is why these roles keep coming my way. There was a time I decided I wouldn’t take such roles anymore, but then I remembered actors like The Rock, Sylvester Stallone, and others who play these kinds of characters, and it hasn’t negatively affected them.”

Ikeduba noted that he has faced no backlash from the public for his on-screen persona, which solidified his decision to continue accepting these roles.

“In the society we live in, we have the good, the bad, and the ugly. I’m just an actor on the screen—I’m not a bad boy in real life,” he added.
