England legend, Gary Lineker has thumbed up the performance of Super Eagles and Fulham midfielder, Alex Iwobi for the Cottagers in the ongoing EPL season.
The impressive performance of the Nigerian International has propelled Fulham to a respectable 9th position on the log with 30 points from 20 games even after the team was held to a 2-2 at the Craven Cottage Road by Ipswich Town yesterday.
Lineker acknowledged the presence of Iwobi in the league and believed that the Nigerian is having another good season just in his second season with Fulham having crossed over on transfer deadline day from Everton last season.
“Iwobi has had a terrific season. He’s been around the Premier League for a while,” Lineker said on his podcast The Rest is Football.
The former Arsenal winger has scored five goals and had three assists this season from 20 EPL games.
