The Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Ibadanland, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Olawale Giwa, has sent his condolences to the families of two elder statesmen, former-governor of Old Oyo State, Dr Victor Omololu Olunloyo and Seriki Adini Musulumi of Yorubaland, Alhaji Yekini Adeojo, on the passage of their beloved persons.

Arc Giwa, in his messages, described the death of the two personalities as serious loss to Ibadan, saying that their wealth of experience, advice and philanthropic gesture will be missed.

“Their death is indeed a great loss to Ibadanland, not only to their families. We will miss their wealth of experience, we will miss their advice and we will also miss their philanthropic gesture.

“Baba Victor Omololu Olunloyo was a great man, a knowledgeable personality and a think-tank not to the people but also to the government.

“Baba Yekini Adeojo was a great political figure and religious leader of note. He was the Seriki Adini Musulumi of Yorubaland and a strong pillar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) not only in Oyo State and the South West, but also in Nigeria. He will surely be missed by the PDP.

Arc Giwa, who is the founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation, prayed that almighty God should grant the families left behind by the two elder statesmen the fortitude to bear the loss.
