The Engineer ‘Seyi Makinde-led government in Oyo State has called on residents of the state to come out en masse for registration in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration.
The Director-General of the Oyo State Mobilisation Agency for Socio-Economic Development, Morohunkola Thomas, made the call on Monday, in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Thomas disclosed, “The Independent National Electoral Commission will only attend to fresh registrants at the various local government offices of INEC in the state, aimed at reducing the bottlenecks being experienced during registration.”
Thomas urged people who had lost their permanent voter card, transfer of PVC as well as people with defaced PVC, to register through: https://www.cvr.inecnigeria.org
The OYMASED DG also enjoined residents to participate fully in the registration process as elections draw near, in order to elect leaders of their choice.
