The much-anticipated Nigerian film titled ‘Babalaje’ chronicling the life of late Oyo state political icon, Chief Michael Koleoso is set to premier in the ancient city of Ibadan.
The premiere scheduled to hold at Jagz Hotel in Iyaganku GRA, Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo state on Sunday, September 21 2025, promises to be a significant cultural event drawing notable personalities from Nigeria’s Nollywood and politics.
The film Babalaje coincides with a commemorative event marking Chief Koleoso’s one-year remembrance. The film showcases his rise and journey from Saki to becoming a pivotal force in Oyo politics.
The late Michael Koleoso served as Secretary to the Oyo state government from 1999-2003 under the late Alhaji Lamidi Onaolapo Adesina.
Babalaje is produced by Ultimate Communications and stars Femi branch, Joke muyiwa, Biola Adebayo, Ayo mogaji, Mr Latin and Tutu Adesoji to mention a few.
