Oyo legislator from Ibadan South East Constituency 2 at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Olayinka Omikunle has congratulated former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, on his emergence as the party’s National Secretary.
In a released made available to newsmen, Hon. Omikunle described Arapaja’s emergence as a well-deserved honour because of his long-standing commitment, loyalty, and service to the PDP within Oyo State and at the national level.
The lawmaker noted that Arapaja’s experience as a former Ambassador and seasoned party administrator would further strengthen the PDP’s national leadership structure.
He commended Amb.Arapaja for his efforts in upholding democracy especially within the PDP family while he strongly believed that his experience as a former lawmaker, Deputy Governor and Ambassador will help the party to achieve success come 2027 general election
Hon.Olayinka Omikunle also lauded the Oyo State governor Engr Seyi Makinde for the success of the national convention tagged ‘Ibadan 2025’. He said it was a peaceful and well organized elective convention
