The President of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide, Dr. Henry Ojo, has urged President Bola Tinubu to find a way to preserve the lives of the citizens by tackling insecurity to a logical conclusion to make sure the killing of innocent masses stops.
Speaking with newsmen during Christ Apostolic Church Arogungbogunmi International, Ibadan, Freedom Festival 2025, tagged ‘Come and See, John 1:46,’ Dr. Ojo said President Tinubu must ensure to preserve the lives of the citizens of the country. All the killings must stop, whether Christians, Muslims or others. The souls of men are precious to God and must be preserved.
In foreign countries, they respect the soul of an animal. They don’t kill animals anyhow, and if they can do that, how much more the soul of humans?
So whether Christians or Muslims, our lives need to be preserved in this nation. I want the President to use all resources available to put an end to the killings that are going on in the country.
Speaking further, Dr. Ojo advised Christians in Nigeria not to shy away from politics but to participate in elections by joining political parties so as to decide who will rule them.
“My word to Christians in Nigeria is that they should be involved in the politics of the nation. If you are not there, you are not there. When you are there, you are there.
When you talk about politics, it is what God ordained by himself. The ruling of the nation has been organized in the mind of God, so Christians should not be exempt from this activity,” he added.
