The Chief Executive Officer of Kayrom Lee Group of Companies, Ambassador Romoke Ayinde, has warmly congratulated the Government and people of Oyo State on the historic celebration of 50 years of statehood, describing the golden jubilee as a defining moment of pride, reflection, and renewed hope for the future.
In her goodwill message, Ambassador Ayinde noted that the Oyo @ 50 celebration signifies far more than the passage of time. According to her, it represents a powerful symbol of resilience, enterprise, rich cultural heritage, and the enduring strength of a people who have sustained the state through decades of growth and transformation.
“Oyo State at 50 stands as a shining testament to the determination of its people and the progressive ideals that have rightly earned it the title of the Pacesetter State,” she stated.
Ambassador Ayinde, who also runs RACBAR Academy—a foundation dedicated to grooming children in various sports—particularly commended His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for providing purposeful, people-centred, and impactful leadership at such a significant milestone in the state’s history.
She described the Governor’s administration as one that has deepened public trust through transparency, infrastructural renewal, economic reforms, enhanced security, and strategic investments in education, technology, and human capital development.
“To have Oyo State attain its 50th anniversary under the stewardship of Governor Seyi Makinde is indeed significant, as his leadership reflects the values of progress, inclusiveness, and sustainable development,” she added.
Ambassador Ayinde expressed strong optimism that the next 50 years will usher in greater economic opportunities, accelerated technological advancement, youth empowerment, and stronger democratic institutions across Oyo State.
She concluded by wishing the people of Oyo State a joyous golden jubilee celebration, while praying for continued peace, unity, and sustained progress under visionary leadership.
