The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has congratulated workers in the council on the occasion of International Workers’ Day, commending their dedication and contributions to grassroots development.
In a statement to mark the annual celebration, Adeojo praised the resilience, commitment, and cooperation of the workforce, noting their vital role in advancing service delivery and community progress across the local government. “I am proud of you,” he stated.
The chairman reiterated his administration’s commitment to workers’ welfare, assuring that their well-being would continue to receive priority attention. He emphasized that improved welfare packages remain central to efforts aimed at building a more productive and prosperous council.
Adeojo also urged workers to sustain their spirit of unity and diligence, assuring them of continued support to maintain a conducive working environment.
He further welcomed residents of Ido Local Government to the month of May, expressing optimism for a period of blessings and progress. He prayed that the new month would bring prosperity, good health, and fulfillment to all households in the council area.
