Fast-expanding tertiary institution, Kola Daisi University, Ibadan, will formally install Professor Olajumoke Abimbola Morenikeji as its Vice-Chancellor during an investiture ceremony scheduled for Tuesday, July 21, 2026.
The institution’s Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council announced that the ceremony will take place at Agbeke Hall on the university’s campus along KM 18, Ibadan-Oyo Express road. The event is expected to begin at 11:00 a.m.
The University management further stated that the ceremony marks the official investiture of Professor Morenikeji as the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, a milestone expected to usher in a new phase of academic leadership and institutional development.
The investiture is expected to attract members of the Governing Council, principal officers, academics, government officials, captains of industry, alumni and other invited guests from within and outside Nigeria.
Professor Morenikeji’s investiture comes at a time when private universities in Nigeria are strengthening their commitment to quality teaching, research and innovation in response to the growing demand for higher education.
The ceremony is expected to highlight Koladaisi University’s vision for academic excellence and its plans to deepen research, innovation and community engagement under the leadership of its new Vice-Chancellor.
