Frontline gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State for the 2027 election, Barr. Akeem Adedeji Agbaje, has paid tribute to former Governor of Ogun State and elder statesman, Chief Olusegun Osoba, on the occasion of his 87th birthday.
In a congratulatory message, Barr Akeem Agbaje described Chief Osoba as an extraordinary patriot, distinguished journalist, committed democrat, and respected statesman whose life has been defined by service, integrity, and dedication to humanity.
“Chief Olusegun Osoba represents a generation of leaders whose lives have been shaped by service and commitment to the greater good. His contributions to journalism, democratic development, and public leadership have earned him respect across Nigeria. At 87, his life remains a testament to integrity, courage, and the values that continue to guide our society.”
The APC chieftain acknowledged Chief Osoba’s years of experience as a two-time governor of Ogun State and his enduring influence beyond political office, describing his role as a mentor and bridge-builder as part of his lasting contribution to society.
“Beyond the offices he has occupied, Chief Osoba’s greatest legacy is the lives he has touched, the values he has promoted, and the relationships he has built over the years. His commitment to peace, unity, and good governance remains worthy of appreciation.”
Agbaje prayed that Almighty God would continue to grant Chief Osoba good health, strength, wisdom, and many more years of fulfillment as he continues to offer guidance and contribute to national development.
