Actress, Bimbo Oshin has remembered her late husband, businessman and music promoter, Ola Ibironke, popularly known as Dudu Heritage, five years after his death.

Oshin took to Instagram on Saturday to pay an emotional tribute to her husband, reflecting on the pain of losing him and the memories he left for their family.

The actress said that despite the passage of five years, his death still feels recent.

“Five years have passed, but it still feels like yesterday,” she wrote.

Happy Moments

Oshin recalled happy moments with her late husband, remembering how he would laugh with the family and hold their hands.

“Like yesterday you were here laughing with us. Like yesterday you were holding our hands,” she said.

The actress described her late husband as the centre of their family and said his absence continues to be deeply felt by their children.

“Heaven really gained an angel the day you left. And we lost the centre of our world,” she wrote.

Missed By Children

Speaking about their children, Oshin said they continue to miss their father and the guidance and affection he provided.

“All your children miss their daddy every single day. We miss your advice, your hugs, your presence,” she said.

She added that the family continues to preserve his memory because he remains an important part of their lives.

“We keep your memory alive because you are still a part of everything we do,” the actress wrote.

Oshin also expressed her wish to turn back time, saying, “Time has moved, but my heart is still with you… I wish I could turn back the hands of time.”

She ended the tribute with a prayer for her late husband, assuring him that the family continues to love and remember him.

“Continue to rest in the bosom of your maker, my husband… We love you and miss you forever,” she wrote.

Ibironke, a prominent music promoter and golfer, died in September 2021.

He was married to Bimbo Oshin and known as Dudu Heritage. He also served as captain of the Ibadan Golf Club before his death.
