Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has warned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu not to seek an audience with American President Donald Trump over the latter’s threat to invade Nigeria.
In a speech he delivered as a guest speaker at the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) conference in Akure, Ondo State during the week, Chief Fani-Kayode said President Tinubu risks being embarrassed by Trump if he attempts a meeting with him.
His advice, he said, was based on speculations and media reports that Tinubu seeks to meet with the American President at the White House in Washington DC.
Describing Trump as “irrational, unpredictable and unbalanced”, the ex-minister said the American president might have been afflicted by what he called “Demastic anointing”.
He said: “Trump is driven by a pathological hatred for Africans, black and brown people, and Muslims. He is also driven by an overwhelming, compulsive, all-consuming and inexplicable greed and avarice for material things.
“He has been afflicted with what those of us in the Pentecostal circles describe as a Demastic anointing, named after Apostle Paul’s loyal disciple called Demas, who lost his way and fell in love with worldly things.”
This, he said, has resulted in Trump’s “obsession with and addiction to the lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh, the lust for power, the lust for treasure, the lust for treasure, the lust for land and the pride of life.
