The National Orientation Agency has reaffirmed its commitment to partnering institutions that promote national development, pledging closer collaboration with the University of Lagos Alumni Association to advance national values and responsible citizenship.
This is coming after last week’s invitation of Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, Director General of the agency from the Department of Mass Communication, University of Lagos, to participate in this year’s program aimed at mentoring students, particularly on the evolving dynamics of mass communication studies.
Receiving a delegation from the University of Lagos Alumni Association, Abuja branch, NOA Director-General, Lanre Issa-Onilu, a UNILAG alumnus, described the university as “the institution of first choice.”
He commended the group’s social interventions and support for the less privileged.
Leader of the delegation, Emmanuel Ibi, thanked the agency for the warm reception and praised its long-standing civic orientation efforts.
He highlighted the association’s initiatives, including scholarships, environmental projects, and public sensitisation on ethics and national values, stressing the need for collaboration to address insecurity and drive national development.
