Engineer ‘Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo State has forwarded the name of the Permanent Secretary, General Administration, Dr Olabode Taiwo Ladipo, to the Oyo State House of Assembly, as a commissioner-nominee.
The governor has also appointed Arc. Ifeoluwa Akande as the Chairman, Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport Upgrade Committee; Honourable Isola Abiodun Adekunle as Executive Adviser, Intra-Party Affairs; and Hon Oladejo Emmanuel Oladokun as Part-Time Member, Local Government Service Commission.
According to a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi PhD, the appointments take effect from July 1, 2026.
Governor Makinde, while congratulating the newly-appointed individuals, urged them to discharge their duties with dedication, loyalty and commitment.
