“The DLSPR represents a major milestone in strengthening the integrity of land records, improving service delivery, reducing processing times, and enhancing public confidence in Oyo State’s land administration system.
“It also supports evidence-based planning and sustainable development by providing improved access to accurate and reliable geospatial information.
“As part of the implementation process, the training of 40 personnel commenced today to equip participants with the skills and knowledge required for the effective operation and management of the Digital Land Survey Plan Registry.
“The Office of the Surveyor-General encourages all trainees to demonstrate dedication, commitment, and professionalism throughout the programme, recognising the critical role they will play in ensuring the successful deployment and long-term sustainability of the initiative.
He therefore confirmed that the digital platform and training programme are sponsored by the Oyo State Government through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) between the Oyo State Government (OYSG) and Private Networks Nigeria Limited.
He explained that upon successful completion of the training, participants will be offered temporary employment opportunities to support the deployment and operation of the Digital Land Survey Plan Registry.
