The Nigeria Media Nite Out Awards has appointed veteran journalist, Paul Ukpabio, as the media spokesperson for its 20th anniversary edition.
The appointment was announced by the Chief Executive Officer of Solkem Entertainment and organiser of the awards, Sola Olugbemiro, in a statement shared with Saturday Beats.
According to the statement, the appointment is aimed at strengthening communication, public engagement and media visibility ahead of the anniversary celebration.
Ukpabio, in his new role, will provide official information and updates on the 20th anniversary edition, respond to media enquiries and facilitate engagement between the organisers and the media.
He will also provide information on the programme and activities scheduled for the anniversary celebration.
The organisers expressed confidence in Ukpabio’s professional experience and understanding of the media landscape, saying his appointment would contribute to effective communication and wider public awareness of the event.
