A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State and frontline 2027 gubernatorial aspirant, Akeem Adedeji Agbaje, Esq., has expressed his condolences over the passing of Prof. Isiaka Kolawole, former Deputy Executive Secretary of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), who died on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at a hospital in Abuja.
Agbaje described the late professor as an accomplished administrator and public servant whose years of service reflected a commitment to public administration and the development of the education sector.
“Prof. Isiaka Kolawole was an administrator and public servant who contributed his experience to the service of our nation. His passing is a loss to his family, colleagues, and all those who knew and worked with him. I extend my sincere condolences to his family and pray that they find comfort at this difficult time.”
“May Allah forgive his shortcomings, accept his deeds as Ibadah, grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and give his family, friends, colleagues, and associates the strength and patience to bear this loss. Ameen.”
