Veteran Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Jimmy Jatt is set to headline the Rewind UK Tour, a concert scheduled to bring together some of the country’s established music acts in London on October 17, 2026.
The concert, organised by Yaw Naija TV and DJ Jimmy Jatt, will feature performances by juju music veteran Sir Shina Peters, singer 9ice and Mr President crooner, African China, alongside DJ Jimmy Jatt.
Billed as a celebration of Nigerian music and entertainment, the event will be held at Grand Empire, –108110 Rushey Green, Catford, London.
The concert is themed: ‘The Legends Are Back,’ and is designed around music from different eras, bringing together artistes whose careers have contributed to the development and popularity of Nigerian music.
For DJ Jimmy Jatt, whose career spans several decades, the UK tour provides an opportunity to reconnect with Nigerian music fans in the Diaspora while celebrating the artistes and sounds that have shaped the country’s entertainment culture.
9ice is expected to bring his blend of indigenous Yoruba lyrics and contemporary Nigerian pop to the concert, while African China will perform songs from his catalogue, including his socially conscious records that gained popularity in the 2000s.
Sir Shina Peters, the pioneer of Nigerian Afro-juju music, will also be part of the line-up, adding a strong traditional and live-music dimension to the concert.
The Rewind UK Tour is scheduled for October 17, 2026, at Grand Empire, Catford, London.
