Hon Femi Gbajabiamila from Lagos State has emerged Speaker of the House of Representatives beating his closest rival Hon Umaru Bago.
The counting session was monitored on NTA by PMParrot.
As at the time of filing this story, the counting was still going on but his supporters had started to celebrate since it was obvious that THE Lagos Rep had coasted home to victory.
At the end of the day Bago got 76 votes against Gbajabiamila’s 283.
