NNL Takes Delivery Of Branded Match Balls

The Nigeria National League has taken delivery of plethora branded match balls, kits for Ball Boys, and arm badges for jerseys, for use in the current season.

The teams are to get thirty match Balls each, fifteen sets of kits for the Ball Boys, and eighty pieces of arm badges.

The sample of the match Balls was signed sealed and unveiled at the Agege Township Stadium, Lagos during the official opening game between homers AS Rascines and visiting Papillo FC of Owerri, a match that ended one goal apiece.

The Chief Operating Officer of NNL, Lawrence Katken said this is to help instill professionalism and discipline. He warned that the teams in both the Northern and Southern Conferences, as a matter of compliance are to use as directed from match day three and four, respectively.

Katken noted that the NNL, will note hesitate to sanction defaulters accordingly.

Meanwhile, Katken has urged clubs in the two conferences to explore the rules and regulations guiding the League, this is following the myriads of complaints emanating from club officials after match day two and three in the Southern and Northern Conferences.

He noted that Clubs must eschew sentiments in ventilating their grievances and apply themselves to the fair play rules, to help the League grow.
