Nigeria Professional Football League side, Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministry FC star, Sikiru Olatubosun is currently a happy man as he is delighted with his invitation to the Super Eagles camp which opens May 23 in France ahead of the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against South Africa.
Olatubosun, whose super strikes against NPFL champions, Rangers International at the Onikan stadium, earned him his CNN Goal of the Week, explained that the call up is the testament of the hard work he has put in the current campaign and believes it will serve as a source of motivation for other players in the league
“I’m happy to have been called up because it is the dream of every player to play in the national team. And again I believe my invitation will motivate my colleagues in the Nigerian league to keep working hard so that they can also get national team invitation,” Olatunbosun said.
Speaking further, Olatubosun said he will not disappoint the teeming fans of NPFL by putting much effort so as to be able to make the final list for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa comes next month.
Olatunbosun’s NPFL club, MFM are currently second on the league table with 33 points from 19 games.
