Nigeria’s national team, Super Eagles will fly to Uyo on Tuesday ahead of their African Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa.
The national team will resume their preparations for the AFCON qualifier upon their arrival in Abuja on Friday, June 2.
”The Super Eagles are heading back to Nigeria on Friday.Will arrive Lagos en route Abuja. Tuesday they’ll be in Uyo,” Toyin Ibitoye, Media Officer of the team, stated.
”The team is mentally and physically ready for operation bring down Bafana Bafana.”
Gent winger Moses Simon, who made the final roster to face South Africa, has said that he will link up with the squad today in Abuja.
Chelsea loanee Kenneth Omeruo will play his last game as a player of Alanyaspor on Saturday before reporting for international duty.
John Ogu, Daniel Akpeyi, Eddy Onazi, and Moroof Youssef are expected to join the team before their trip to the capital of Akwa Ibom State.
