Super Eagles’ assistant coach, Salisu Yusuf has expressed that Nigeria can beat Argentina in the November International friendly slated for Russia.
Two-time World champions, Argentina will lock horns with Nigeria on 14 November 2017.
Salisu said Argentina’s track records would not be an advantage because the two teams would play the match based on their current form.
“My players are equal to the task anytime anywhere,” Salisu said.
“And we are not afraid of big names because big names no longer play football.
“But talent and determination are key to winning matches.”
Before taking on Argentina, the Super Eagles will face Algeria in their last 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier on 10 November 2017.
The match will be played in Algeria and Super Eagles have already qualified for the finals as Group B winners.
The Super Eagles were beaten 3-2 by Argentina in their last meeting which was a 2014 FIFA World Cup Group F match in Brazil.
