Michael Adeyemo: He Spoke With Wife, Children The Morning Before His Death – Dep. Speaker

Reactions have continued to trail the sudden death of the Speaker Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Michael Adesina Adeyemo whose death occurred on Friday, April 27, 2018.

While reacting to his death, Dep. Speaker of the House of Assembly, Barr. Musah Abdulwasi who found it hard to believe explained that from his findings, late Adesina Adeyemo had earlier spoken with his wife and children who are currently residing in London before he slumped and asked his younger brother to take him to Jericho General hospital.

Barr. Musah who could not control his emotion added that they had spoken on Thursday and deliberated upon the activities before the house next week with a promise to meet again this weekend, described his death as sad, a big slap and major calamity to the whole Oyo State.

He hinted that the House has always been praying against the re-occurrence of such calamity under the present administration since the demise of Hon. Gideon which occurred last year July.

Also speaking in the same vein, Hon. Fatai Adesina representing Ibadan South East Constituency I described as sad and unbelievable the news of the Speaker’s death, stressing that he has left a big vacuum that will be hard to fill.

In the House of Assembly where a condolence registered has been opened for sympathizers, some members of staff who spoke with PMParrot expressed their sadness over the unfortunate incident and hinted that the late speaker had earlier this week promised them new lease of life.

When PMParrot visited the Department of Anatomy, College Of Medicine, University of Ibadan where a post mortem was being carried out to ascertain the cause of his death, the place was a Mecca of sort for sympathizers who came in to ascertain the veracity of the news.
