Oyo FA Commiserates With Crown FC Over Loss Of Medical Officer

Oyo State Football Association has commiserated with the management of Crown FC of Ogbomoso over the sudden demise of their team’s nurse, Sunday Ojo who died on Monday 7th May 2018 after a brief illness.

Ojo who was seconded to the Club early 2018 by State’s Government from the Oyo State Hospital Management Board, was reportedly down with slight malaria over the weekend, only to pass away on Monday according to statement issued by the Crown management.

The chairman of Oyo State FA, Chief James Odeniran condoled with the management of the Ajilete Warriors in a condolence letter issued by the FA praying God to give the family of the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss.

“Until his death, he was a dedicated professional and easy going fellow. Sunday Ojo contributed lot to the efficiency of the medical team of the Club and he would for so long be remembered and cherished for his professionalism” said the admin secretary of the club, Kunle Oyeleye.

Ojo, whose age was not ascertained is survived by a wife and children and was, buried on Thursday at his native home, Otamokun, Ogo-Oluwa Local Government area of Oyo State.
