Super Eagles striker, Kelechi Iheanacho has revealed that the Nigeria, who paraded the youngest squad in Russia, have gained experience which will come in handy in Qatar 2022.
Super Eagles were eliminated from the 2018 World Cup after suffering a painful 2-1 loss to South Americans Argentina in their final game in Group D.
Nigeria were favorites to reach the last sixteen only for the Gernot Rohr-led side to concede in the 86th minute when Marcos Rojo volleyed home the winner from Gabriel Mercado’s cross.
”I think it was a good experience at the World Cup. We didn’t get the chance to go through but I think it was a good experience for us as a young team,” Iheanacho told LCFC TV.
