The Abiola Ajimobi-led government in Oyo State has commenced the widening of access roads to all major markets in the state to ensure free flow of traffic.

This was revealed by the Director of Highways in the state’s Ministry of Works, Engineer Olayinka Alli while featuring on a popular Fresh FM Radio’s programme on Saturday morning.

Alli specifically mentioned the roads in front of the markets at Agbeni, Oja Oba, Apata, Beere, Bodija and others in the capital city of the state.

He also spoke about how Ajimobi’s government will construct bridges at General Gas in Basorun and Onipepeye to ensure that the dualization projects going on in these areas are complemented.

He equally announced that the people of Oyo State should contact the works’ ministry via 07011534545 to register their complaints and observations.

Said Alli “Our people should send short messages to us and they should be rest assured that we will lift more than one finger to attend to their needs. I thank our people for supporting the government. The government is moving at a reasonable rate to attend to all. Those yet to feel the government will soon be visited.

“I will say here that Ajimobi’s government has built over 90 roads. No other administration has done this in the history of the state. I am therefore using this opportunity to appeal to our people to be patient as all the ongoing road projects will be completed in time.”
