The Hope Democratic Party (HDP) Osun state gubernatorial candidate in the forthcoming election, Wole Adedoyin, has promised to setup efforts to promote and develop tourism in the state once he is elected as Governor in the forthcoming election.
Addressing members of his party, Wole Adedoyin added that he would setup small-scale industries to transform rural areas.
Adedoyin, also promised the people of Osun State that he would develop the tourism industry in the state which will in turn provide jobs, mainly to the youths once elected in the forthcoming September 22 poll.
Adedoyin said Osun State has many tourists attractions which include Oluminrin Waterfall (Erin-Ijesha), Oranmiyan Staff(Opa Oranmiyan), Suzanne Wenger’s House and Centre, Okonfo Rao Kawawa, Obalufon Shrine, Atamora Rock Scenery (Iwo), Atamora Rock Scenery (Iwo), Ayinkunkun Nigba Waterfall (Oke Ila), Kiriji War Site (Igbajo), Erile Shrine (Ilobu), Mbari Mbayo Heritage etc.
According to him “We hope to renovate and enhance the appearance of these tourists’ attractions and build 1 or 2 mini hotels around some of them with the intention of increasing the IGR of the state.
